Renewable Energy Action Summit Canceled

The 2011 Renewable Energy Action Summit scheduled for June 26 -27, 2011 at Bismarck State College has been canceled allowing co-hosts U.S. Senator Kent Conrad, U.S. Senator John Hoeven and sponsors Kadrmas Lee & Jackson, and Bismarck State College to focus on the Missouri River flood response. The organizers, which also include the Great Plains Energy Corridor and the ND Alliance for Renewable Energy, expect the Renewable Energy Action Summit will be held again in spring 2012.

The Renewable Energy Action Summit is an annual event featuring energy experts highlighting research and development of renewable energy technologies. The summit showcases the current status of North Dakota's renewable energy industry and explores opportunities for expanded development.

The annual Great Plains Energy Expo in Bismarck, ND, is tentatively scheduled for November 15 - 16, 2011 at Bismarck State College.
